Spatial Modeling for Urban Resilience Assessment: Using AHP and GIS (Case Study of Bou-Saâda City, Algeria)

The aim of the research is spatial modeling to assess urban resilience. A group Delphi experts were involved, in stages, select final criteria. Using Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) by (AHP), criteria ranked according weight and importance. Criteria maps within a GIS environment combined with AHP results, create an Urban Resilience Map (URM). results showed that (52.19%) study area achieved high resilience, (30.86%) medium resilience (16.95%) low also there are differences between neighborhoods city Bou-Saâda terms can be determined spatially. this used as decision aid such providing suggestions planners managers prioritizing their interventions (such renewal neighborhoods) conducting checks on less criteria, order support city's ability respond shocks.
